I want to make a youtube quality video for a contest at my school but the movie making material I have already on my laptop for the lack of a better word sucks. What are some free EASY TO USE programs that I can download online to create videos that pop?

Hmm, assuming what operating system you have. For Windows XP, Windows Movie Maker, For Windows Vista, Windows Movie Maker, For Windows 7, you have to download Windows Movie Maker. For Mac OS X, iMovie.
I personally wouldn’t use any of these. I use Mac OS X, for editing I would use iMovie or Final Cut.
