I like Asian and Caucasian(white) Girls, but they usually assume im the same as other black guys.?

Question by Brown Skinned Jrocker: I like Asian and Caucasian(white) Girls, but they usually assume im the same as other black guys.?
This question isn’t absolute…b/c I have mostly, actually a majority of my friends male are white or Asian or other races, rarely do I hang around black dudes unless they’re into anything I am.

I also meet some white pretty cool white girls and w/ some I’ve gotten pretty close but it usually ends w/ them not wanting anything more. Which doesn’t make sense b/c I only approach girls that have one or more of my interests or the traits i like…w/e.

Lets see I wear my hair and look like my avatar…I play guitar…listen to Jrock, classic Rock(60’s), trance(<3 tiesto),orchestra or anything that's good like Imogen Heap :). I have goals in life, I'm going to school as an english major and plan on joining the JET program, then becomeing a translator(either just a normal translation job at a desk, or I would like to translate amine), im a writer of screenplays aspiring to make movies when im older, I study Japanese,Chinese and french. Id rather hangout at home and watch movies(play a lot of games) than go to a club...I do like going to cons and concerts(usually the ones at cons only). I love to talk, as I've done w/ many female friends of mines(*shrug*). I have my own place(which is gonna end soon b/c im just gonna go ahead and stay on campus). I have a car. Thing is i know there are nice girls in every race, but I feel I still get alot of hatred b/c im not the typical black guy and they arent used to it so they sorta run away from me. One example, (I know this is a lot lol) I met a girl, she was cool, I love nerds( i like the girl who isn't like by all the other guys) she like games, my music, a lot of same movies...etc. I hung out w/ her at school and she told me she felt comfortable around me and that i was diff. so i asked her out (to go see Coraline 🙂 )after about a week of knowing her. She said yea...we exchanged numbers...w/e..(she asked for mine!) then things started slowing down...wtf...? I do remember her sister looking at me(my hair lol) like i was a portrait she didn't get. After a couple more meetings in lab or w/e she just stopped coming up to me to chat n stuffs, so being the person I am I just moved on. I'm just curious as to how ppl will respond to this question but ya im gonna go on continuing to be me...but... Is it really that it doesn't matter what kind of person I am...my skin is still the main factor? Also I do live in Houston...my friend sais its b/c we live in the south that im treated like this...but I see many mixed relationships. Usually though if its black and white the white girl has changed to accommodate the males culture. rarely the other way around down here. W/e.... "Don't change at all, a girl is bound to get to know you, love you for who you are, and look past your actual appearance." I wont 🙂 just curious as to how ppl will response a piece of my life. Before someone posts, lol, I actually do like black girls...but they have to be and individual...Ive only dated black girls...I really love nerdy cute black girls who share my interests...a lot of times this is also rare...b/c if they're like me they usually think im like the rest and are only interested in other races...which doesn't bother me much...I don't care about race...as long as their is a close friendship...no more ranting I'll try and stop lol. Hey hey, I’m half Korean half White. And honestly, that doesn’t sound unattractive to me at all. Your personality sounds really great, and I think that that girl was being stupid. I don’t judge people based on their race, I mean, I’m dating a half black, half asian guy (but looks black), and he’s a really deep, genuine person.

Don’t change at all, a girl is bound to get to know you, love you for who you are, and look past your actual appearance.
