I found the right firewire, but when i plug it into the computer, nothing happens. I don’t know how to make a movie if the computer doesn’t respond to me plugging it in. I’ve read the manual for the camera and the computer, but none of them say anything about my problem. I also talked with the Dell support people and they don’t know what is wrong either. Update your Media player.
Also, update your Windows to the latest service pack.
If anything, your PC should have a window pop up and suggest “Movie Maker” as the application to use.
Download VirtualDub. It has a capturing feature that will work with JVC/Firewire.
