I make videos with a Sony handy cam, and I want to know how to make your movies have that darkened, pro filter effect. How do you do it? Is their a DIY way to do it, or do you have to buy expensive filters?

Many cam recorders, have video effects you can select in the menu option of the cam, and also able to adjust levels.

You can also capture your movie to computer, then edit video with a video editing software, and apply the desired effects into your movie.
