How to make make movies from the Playstation Network smaller?

Question by Danny A: How to make make movies from the Playstation Network smaller?
I only have a PSP and I have download demo’s then erase them from my PSP when i’m done to save up room. Is there any way to transfer movies bought off the Playstation Network to your PSP to your PC and watch the movies on your PC and later convert them to a smaller size for your PSP?
