Question by Paul Frank: How much money does movie production companies make?
I am curious to know how much a movie production company make from a movie. What is the % they earn from a movie’s total gross in theaters?

For example: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST, accordin to Box Office Mojo, worldwide gross was over $ 1 billion dollars. How much does the production company earn from that? Thank you.
