i want to know how much film makers spend to make a movie. something big like “The Dark Knight” and something not as big like “Step Brothers”. also how long does it take to make the movies. im just curious about it.

Both would probably cost millions. Step Brothers is big, because it features well known actors…they get paid A LOT. The Dark Knight probably cost a lot more though, with all the special effects and crazy makeup and costumes.
