Question by joe m: How does the Disney Channel make money?
While watching the Disney Channel I noticed that they never show commercials for products not affiliated with Disney. Every commercial break they run commercials for upcoming Disney movies, Disney contests or Disney TV shows. How does the Disney Channel make money if they don’t run ads?

Disney channel itself is a commerical for Disney. The channel itself may not make much money, but the products it shows can generate a lot of revenue for Disney,
