Question by Iqbal K: How do you “smear” or “blend” a picture in photoshop?
I am making a movie poster, and i have small cut outs of the people’s heads of which i want to place on various parts of the poster. How do i sort of smear or blend those cutouts into the poster so it doesn’t look like they are sticking out but rather blended into the poster?

easy, make a selection with the wand on the blank space, then goto the selection menu and choose modify, feather….try feathering 1-2 pixels to get what you want and hit enter. the amount you use depends on the image size so if its not enough just repeat the process and change the value if needed
