How do you make movies on Sim 2?

Question by lpshinoda24: How do you make movies on Sim 2?
Do you need to hook computer up to xbox or get any special program to make a movie on Sims 2? All I see if free play or story mode. How do I make a movie, please explain. I’m talking movies like Rooster Teeth’s Strangerhood

You can only make movies with the PC game. So if you have a PC:
1: Press Ctrl V or the video camera icon to start recording while in game. Press again to stop
2: Go into a movie editing program such as Windows Movie Maker and select File>Import Into Collections>My Documents> EA Games> The Sims 2> Video
3: Edit it
4: Select File> Save as movie file.
