How do I import videos into Windows Movie Maker?

Question by FriendlyGhostGirl: How do I import videos into Windows Movie Maker?
So I like to make videos and put them on YouTube. I use my cellphone to make videos and send them in text message form to my email, where I then download and save them to my computer and upload them to YouTube. However, the maximum time for videos sent in a message is 30 seconds, so all my videos are 30 seconds. Now recently I have been using Windows Movie Maker, and thought, “How about I just save the videos to my computer, and then import all of them to Windows Movie Maker, making one 2 minute video instead of four 30 second ones.” The first time I tried, this popped up. “The file cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.” I went to http://w5.media-convert.com/convert/index.php and converted one of the videos to Windows Media Video (wmv.). Then I tried importing, but this popped up. “The file could not be imported.” Now I don’t know what to do!! Help please?
