I try to burn a movie I have on my PC to a DVD and it is just telling me its to big for the DVD I need to get it into a smaller file so I can burn it, is it posssible? and is there any software I can download to help me get it done?

Your PC should already have Windows Movie Maker installed on it.
Open that up, import the movie, drag it to the timeline, then save it as a new file type (usually WMV is a smaller end product than AVI).
Or, you could try re-adjusting your DVD-burner settings for “good” quality instead of “excellent” or “high.” That usually takes less space too.
