I’m sure it takes a lot of money, but I was wonder if I can email a top director at Universal Studios about the idea of a movie. Me and my friends wanna make a movie based on the video game series Syphon Filter. Do any of you know could we tell Universal Studios our idea so they can help us produce a movie?

Honestly I think it’s impossible to email a top director or Universal Studio. Thousands of people have scripts they want to turn into movies so they are probably bombarded with requests everyday. Your best bet would be to probably try and contact a lesser known studio, but you also need more than just an idea. You can’t copyright an idea so they could simply steal it from you. You could patent it but that’s expensive and it needs to pass certain standards.
