Hot Dog: The Movie (Mitch Ryder Montage)

Classic early 80’s party/ski flick featuring the first single from Mitch Ryder’s 1983 “comeback” album, Never Kick A Sleeping Dog. It’s actually a cover of a Prince song from 1980 called “When You Were Mine” (I know, it sounds like I’m making this up). The album was produced by John Mellencamp and basically flopped. I really don’t understand why. This is a great song. And this movie, which was hugely successful, should have made it a hit.
