First you need to get the clips you want and you import then using file import media(or something like that) Then you can drag and drop the clips you want into the time line then if you put your mouse over the ends of the clip you can cut then down by clicking and dragging the ends/beginnings of the clips. After that you can add effects like black and white, or fades using the effects and transitions located on the left side. Experiment with them and if you don’t like it just click Ctrl Z to undo it. To add audio you just do the same file import media and import the music files you want to use. You can just drag and drop the audio files into the time line and they will be located underneath the video on the time line, you can cut the audio down and add fade out and fade ins and adjust the volume by right clicking on the file on the time line. Once you are finished click publish movie and then you can save it to your computer where you can burn it to a disc or up load it to the Internet.

It may seen a bit confusing at first but play around with it and it will become rather easy, If you can’t get what your looking for you might have to upgrade to a better editing software, I would suggest Sony Vegas Pro. or cyber directer.
