Crucifix Improvements and Other Random Practice Clips

I downloaded the FLIP Camera updated software. It was a disaster. The program sucked up all of my videos on the C drive into its own hidden file protocol. So now, to archive my videos (218 of them–some only a few seconds long), I have to export them one by one, because the program doesn’t permit mass selection with the shift arrow key. What is the matter with the software industry? I am so frustrated right now, so I am sorry if I offended anyone by saying that. My best friend is an IT/Computer/Software professional–sorry, John! But the new clip editor on FLIP is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. The slider has no time index, it jumps back to start and you can’t make new clips from an existing clip very easily. So now I have to save and then immediately export long clips into a scut file. Then I have to work on everything–even making the clips in Windows Movie Maker–not just assemble them there. ARRGH! Shelly, now I know why you are so frustrated all the time. Why are computers so hard to make work correctly??? So I turned 48 today–well, yesterday (it’s after midnight), and I am not handling it well. I do not like special occasions-they make me anxious and out of sorts. My favorite days are just normal ones–with warm weather, music, and a little beer, but today I am growling at the screen and fighting the computer. It is 15 degrees outside and my feet are cold, LOL! If I had had more sense I would be at Fitzgeralds drinking a Corona (or several) and watching a band! Well …
