Are there any celebrities or movie stars that have actually died while in the process of making a movie? What happened? Did the movie ever end up in theatres or out on DVD?

I’m not sure if this is the answer you are looking for, but Heath Ledger died before the actual film was finished, there was one more scene to shoot, apparently.
