Can’t import video into Windows Movie Maker! Help!?

Question by Tori D: Can’t import video into Windows Movie Maker! Help!?
Okay, I made a video with my digital cam corder and I decided to edit the video on Windows Movie Maker. But when I went to import my video, the screen freezes and says “Windows Movie Maker has stopped working. Windows is now checking for a solution to the problem”. I don’t get it! It allows me to import pictures but not videos! It doesn’t make any sense could someone help me please, its pissing me off!?
