Can you help me to correct my essay?

Question by Euni: Can you help me to correct my essay?
Multi-million dollar films have achieved success on the big screen thanks to not only the collaboration of actors and film crew, but also because many films are based on real-life stories, historical facts or already famous novels that automatically attract people to watch the movie. It transports the imagination through the plot or the history and onto the film.
An example of this is the narrated text, “Ransom of Red Chief,” written by O. Henry. Sometimes these films are not necessarily exactly like the original story; the plot is shortened, the order of the facts is changed and sometimes, some things are added to create more interest. This is why it is interesting to read the text and watch the film, making it possible to establish the differences and similarities between the two works.

“Ransom of Red Chief” is an ironic and entertaining story about a boy with an adventurous spirit and who called himself, “Red Chief,” in honor of a Native American. He was feared by the town folk because he was so mischievous, but his behavior was due to the lack of attention from his father and also lack of having someone to play with. The Dorset family was very rich and powerful, which drew attention from possible delinquents to commit a crime… which finally became true but which also brought with it friendship and most importantly of all, family unity.

Some similarities between the motion picture and the text are that in both “Red Chief” was kidnapped by some “astute” and supposed ‘kidnappers'” who simply needed money for another kind of business. They, equally, asked ransom to return the child and vice versa, the father asked for ransom to have his own child back. In addition, Red Chief exasperates his father and his kidnappers, Sam and Bill, wrestled Him to finally get to kidnap Him. Furthermore, the Two Desperate Men also wrote a letter to Mr. Dorset who think Red Chief try to pull his leg. Finally, the crazy characters bring entertainment to the entire family with all ages.

On the other hand “Ransom of Red Chief” has many differences between the film and the narrative. First, we see Red Chief as a blond hair boy and about six to seven years in the movie, making contrast with the text that has red hair and ten years old. The text takes place in Alabama, but in the film takes place in Missouri. Second, the narrative didn’t talk about Red Chief mom and the parents didn’t get awarded about his kidnapped. In the movie Red Chief mom appear and it’s one of the protagonist of the story and as we see the plot of the movie the child awarded his father, before he got kidnapped. Third, in “Ransom of Red Chief” the movie, Bill and Sam asked for forty-seven dollars and fifty cents, instead of fifteen thousand dollars in the text.
Thereafter, in the movie they play it by ear because Red Chief was re-kidnapped by two men who escape from jail, instead of Bill and Sam have pay the ransom that Mr. Dorset asked to have back his own child.

Without a doubt “Ransom of Red Chief” is a text and movie really funny that can make laugh the entire family and have a good time together. But, this short story is not only for entertainment, it leaving us a moral….”to appreciate more our family”.

assuming your first paragraph is your thesis, shorten ( a thesis doesn’t always have to be one sentence, although some teachers are stingy about it) and have a couple sentences leading into it, don’t make it your first line

But, this short story is not only for entertainment, it leaving us a moral – try “This short story, however, aside from being entertaining, also conveys a message on morality; to appreciate our family”
