I want to get into making Animated Music Videos (AMV) and I am looking to see what type of programs will work best with what formats? Should I stick with Window Movie Maker, download a free one or shellout cash for one?

Sigh.

A word to the wise, my friend, the only person who thinks an AMV is interesting is the person who made it. Nobody else watches them unless doing so will increase their gaia gold or whatever. They’re dull, and if you do it badly, they ruin the video as well.

That said, if you have money to throw away, get Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. But please, for the sake of the internet, don’t.
