Best Free Video Editing Software?

Question by URHOPE: Best Free Video Editing Software?
What, in your opinion, is the best free video editing software today? Your top five? I’ve been looking into Wax software and Windows Movie Maker 2.6 (both plug ins for less complicated actions). So what can make the movie WOW and still be a great but simpleish tool to use? As long as it’s free I don’t care how complicated. Also, this is not a have too, but would it be good for stop animation? Not required, though.

1-cinema 4d( the best)
2-imovie(after)
3-windows live movie maker (after after :D)
