Question by : Are scripts/ screenplays written in a certain font or format?
I know it sounds stupid to ask, but i myself write scripts for “movies”. I always noticed that professional scripts are written in a similar font to each other. I was wondering what type of fony or format this is called.

I can’t help you with the font, but the format is basically what comes up on the computer- they have screen plays (Like fade in or whisper to let others know what’s going on and what to do) and they use a font large enough for someone to see it, and double space and/or color code the lines so that people can differentiate between their lines and others’.
