A renowned Indian astrologer Chaturvedi tells a doctor, about to perform surgery that his patient is going to die. The doctor is humbled when his prediction comes true. Chaturvedi�s wants his son Nandu to marry Indu but Nandu loves Sushma. However once again, Chaturvedi predicts that his son Nandu will have two wives and thet one will die after eleven months of marriage. It is thus left on Nandu to believe his father and let go of Sushma, or defy his astrological beliefs and marry her.
