Question by : Am i the only one mad they’re remaking Footloose?
I mean, what’s the point of remaking an 80’s classic? I’ve seen the trailer The main girl acts so fake and the dancing is like those step up movies. I think they want to make the movie “more modern” or something, but i think that will ruin the original. What do you think?

I think everyone is mad at this movie.

well, not so much mad, more disappointed. Why does this movie need to be made at all?. The first one was ok but nothing great, and the story really doesnt transpose to modern times at all. It just looks ridiculously pointless.

If anything, they should make a TV film of the Broadway version. At least then will it give the audience something that wasnt in the original
