What is the argument Stanley Kubrick is making about the Cold War in “Dr. Strangelove”?
Question by : What is the argument Stanley Kubrick is making about the Cold War in “Dr. Strangelove”?
I need a clear thesis and at least one piece of supporting evidence. It needs to be 1-3 sentences long and under 50 words total.
I know that Kubrick uses sarcasm and irony to comment on the war, but I just don’t know what he’s trying to say about the war. We watched this movie in my US History class, and I was so confused and bored out of my mind.
Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!

I always figured it was that the weapons had grown far too powerful for us to control, due to our own human weaknesses.
