Question by Haley Chapman: what are some good scripts to practice acting with?
i am really nervous about going to my first acting class but also really excited! I would really like too practice a little bit before i go to my first class ever so im not totally oblivious to what is going on. so anyone who has gone to a acting class before what was your first time like? i am a beginner and have had know acting experiences ever. So just little things that might help me will be great thanks (:

The whole point in going to acting classes is to learn, you’re not expected to go in and be an amazing actor. You just have to go to the class with confidence and enjoy it. There isn’t much you can do to prepare for an acting class as the whole point is you’re going there to learn. If it is a private class it is easier to come out into character, if it is a group class you have to remember that you are all there for the same reason, to get better at acting, so don’t feel embarrassed in front of everyone when reading from a script or doing the exercises.
