What do you think? I think Sci-fi or the history channel could make an awesome tv series and could capture more of the story…
But then again, a movie trilogy might have better financing, location, and acting?……

You are right that movies would most likely make the most money and, consequently, use better locations and actors, but TV could do more justice to the series.

However, I would suggest a third option: a miniseries, but one done by either the BBC or Masterpiece (or, perhaps, A&E or even HBO). These often stick closer and are truer to the stories.

With a regular TV series, they’d have a short block of time to keep people’s interest and would, probably, make things up to keep the suspense and tension going each episode.

Movies, even trilogies, usually leave too much out or change too many things and the limited amount of time can make it rather choppy.

I wonder if anyone will ever make the attempt.
