Windows Movie Maker Problem?

Question by KrisFrosz133: Windows Movie Maker Problem?
I’ve used WMM many times since I started using it years ago but now I’m facing one stupid problem. Whenever I crop the videos and save the project into a movie, the videos that I make are split into two, meaning that the video is at the top of the screen and there’s this weird green screen covering the bottom screen. Why is that? I have restarted my Windows Vista a few times but still this problem occurs. Is there a patch that I need to download? Or are my settings wrong?

P/S: Is there any other video editing software that is better than WMM? Can anyone recommend me some good ones? One that can edit any formats from avi to quicktime. I tried Sony Vegas but that can only edit quicktime videos.

Windows Movie Maker is the free choice for video editing but isn’t very good software. It constantly closes when your in the middle of something for no reason. CNET give’s it a 1 star rating and doesn’t recommend it for any user.

Top 3 choices in video editing on the PC:

1) Adobe Premiere Elements

2) Ulead Video Studio

3) Sony Vegas

You can download a free trial of the software mentioned above. VideoSpin is a brand new tool that allows you to create your own movie clips in minutes using your own videos and pictures. VideoSpin is completely free, if your looking for a list of free video editing software besides VideoSpin, take a look at my first source below.
