Question by dinkylynn: who to contact about adapting a book to a screenplay?
I just read a great book and think it would make a great movie. I have all the dialog and special affects etc worked out but what is the next step how do i get it picked up to actually become a movie. I know I have to contact the author and such. maybe this will be my big break hahaha

i think you would just try and contact a screenwriter, and then they could then show it to their agent.
