Which MacBook Pro 13 inch Hard Drive is best?

Question by Bri-Cat: Which MacBook Pro 13 inch Hard Drive is best?
I am in the process of buying a new MacBook Pro, but I am stuck. The hard drive and memory is what confuses me, people say solid state hard drives are best, but why? I see for cheaper than the solid state drive the Serial ATA Drive has 750GB for less than $ 200, but the state hard drive at 512GB is less room for $ 1,250! Does the GB with these matter? I want a lot of room for my stuff, but I want my computer to last long and not make an annoying fan sound when It gets all worked up. I want to be able to put a disc in the computer that is still possible with either hard drive, correct? Also I plan on using my computer for school as well as art (A lot of photos and movie making) Also I don’t have much money either.
– 320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
– 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm [Add $ 50.00]
– 750GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm [Add $ 150.00]
– 128GB Solid State Drive [Add $ 250.00]
– 256GB Solid State Drive [Add $ 650.00]
– 512GB Solid State Drive [Add $ 1,250.00]

Also the Memory, which is best for what I plan on doing? (stated above)
– 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM – 2x2GB
– 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM – 2x4GB [Add $ 200.00]

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Whoever is telling you a solid state drive is best is a fucking retard and believes that paying more means it’s better. SSDs are just more reliable. You’re using a Mac, so you’re probably not going to notice the speed increase of an SSD. If you’ve never went through a hard drive failure (your average computer user probably hasn’t) then don’t even think about an SSD.

$ 150 for a 750 GB HDD is crazy and whoever thought $ 200 for 8 GB was a good idea must have eaten every single god damned special brownie in Apple HQ.
