What kind of video camera should I get?

Question by knight_visionn: What kind of video camera should I get?
Im poor because I’m in high school, but I have a passion for making movies. I’ve been using a 5 year old Sony Handycam, which is digital. The quality is just way to bad for anyone to take any of my stuff seriously though. I figure if the camera is under 300 dollars I can probably scrounge the money off my parents, I mean, I’m holding 2 jobs but still am basically broke. Any suggestions on what to get? Must be digital, good picture, and under 300 dollars.
