What is some good Movie Making software that isnt to expensive?

Question by Mr Grouch: What is some good Movie Making software that isnt to expensive?
Alright I make a lot of videos on the computer (for gaming) and currently all I have is Windows Movie Maker which blows. I checked out Sony Vegas but it says that it is $ 530. Is there any good software that is easy to use and has a lot of very good options and effects to add to your movie? I’m looking for something that cost $ 150 and under.

Well if you are using linux you could use cinelerra-cv, http://cvs.cinelerra.org/

If you’re using Windows(oh the horror), then these are the kinds of things that make us linux people laugh at you.
