What did you think of the Tale of Despereaux movie?

I went to see it with a couple of friends and I was REALLY disappointed. I hoped it would be better than that, I mean the book was laid out perfectly for a movie. It looked as to be easy to make a movie out of. What did you think of it? Please tell me if you’ve read the book. [I’ve read it twice].

i havent read the book so i dnt know how it measured up to the movie
but i was really disappointed also!!
the story wasnt really going anywhere and it didnt really flow
it was all really quite dull
but despereaux’s ears where the cutest!!
and i really like matthew brodrick and emma watson so yeah
it was alright but not what i thought it would be!
