I was watching an episode of AWA last night after the basketball game on ESPN Classic. The main event was Jerry “The King” Lawler vs some Russian guy in a singles match for the AWA Heavyweight Championship. It’s was a good match too but it also looked so real. So, was AWA real or scripted just WWE? Because if it’s scripted then those wrestlers back then are way better at selling moves than they are today.
