we just bought a new computer yesterday, and I have a ton of files and programs that I want to transfer to the new computer from the one I’m using now. What’s the best way to go about this, as far as the programs?
I have all of my files on a flash drive, and some I networked to our third computer, so that’s all set.
It’s just that some of the programs have files saved that I want transferred over (like games saved in computer games), so I can’t just delete them and reinstall. Also, I purchased some things online (like upgrades to my movie making software), so I don’t have a recovery disc or id number….
can I just transfer all of that over the network connection to the third computer, then to the new computer once we get it set up?
We don’t have the option of having all three computers up and running at the same time. It’s either the old and number three, or the new and number three…and my flash drive is full btw.

Buy a USB drive from like future shop or best buy…enough capacity to hold those documents, should work.
