The Sims 3 – Building a House 4 – Family Values – Part 2 – Architecture

The link to download this house is over here: au.thesims3.com Now this is my second request, thanks goes to PoptartFreak720, who wanted a house for a family of 8: Mum, Dad, 3 boys and 3 girls (Yikes!) Now, I’m not entirely happy with the overall house, the backyard is great however. Anyway, something random happened while i was working on the 1st floor, I can see every now and then the rooms decided they want to be pitch black regardless of windows or not, I’m not sure if it’s a bug or some way of telling us that the layout fails. But that got annoying and took the life out of my building….. enthusiasm. The colour schemes all over are sub par as I couldn’t get them to work well, I miss my floorboards from Sims 2… amongst everything else! Um… in the end I guess I looks decent, exterior look nice, just interior could have a do-over. Enjoy!!!

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Hooray for crap planning! Hooray for NO planning in fact! thanks to the CFE I cant place tiling in front of the door so I placed a rug there to cover the grass… I’m still unhappy with the colours and I’ll keep playing around with them once I’ve got the basic colour scheme for the entire lot right. Also, apparently using MO makes objects sink through the ground or something, and the architecture isn’t the greatest either, I should’ve mention earlier that the house is for 7 sims; mum, dad, 3 girls and 2 boys. As you can tell by that pillar on the ground floor, I’m using the island counter thing, I may also clean up the rooms because I wasn’t really thinking when I was placing them. I need a name for the house too, suggestions? Real suggestions? Avalon Grande took 9-10 hours to build altogether and costs 8 000 furnished and 1 unfurnished. =] Enjoy!!!
