The Sims 3 – Building a House 17 – Avalon Grande – Part 10 – Final Touches

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Part of the brief was that the mother and one of the daughters were gardeners and the only way to get plants into the house was to use David and his large selection, majority of the plants are rare/ special seeds and 2 are money trees… the rest are fruits and vegetables. I’ve always wanted to thrown in custom paintings into one of my houses because the decor ones are craptacular and David’s painting are really good…. naturally. I managed to kill 3 birds with one stone by making David playtest parts of the house, as you can tell, swimming in the pool causes problems and the only way to fix it is by physically telling the sim to get out of the pool via ladder.. I think… and you can effectively sleep underwater too. If you really want to swim in the pool, tell the sim to swim in the unraised area or lower that bit down to normal, but leave the hot tub the way it is. =S What you don’t see at the end is that David is complaining about the end tables blocking the sink… I removed them from the final product, I’m not sure if he’d have used it if MO was on, because I think it was off when I was play testing, so based on that, I’m guessing most of the MO’ed objects wont work but try it with MO turned on first!!! Avalon Grande took 9-10 hours to build altogether and costs 8 000 furnished and 1 unfurnished. Enjoy!!!
