A few friends and myself making some apple juice to make some cider. Made the whole apple mill and press for the same cost as a small presses you see for sale for home use, about £300 which was not bad. All the presses I saw were small and labour intensive. It will pay for itself in year 2. This was designed to do 125 litres a pop which is a lot more than a £300 retail/comercial press will do which is usually about 30.
