Sims 3 Windows Movie Maker problem. . AVI format?

Question by zibbygirl291: Sims 3 Windows Movie Maker problem. . AVI format?
I open up User>Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 3>Recorded Videos. I open up Windows Movie Maker, and drag the video I want into the timeline. It works. Then I dragged the next video into it, and it didn’t work. I got an error message saying something like “could not be imported. the specified module could not be found.” i have ten videos that are all exactly alike, the same format, same everything, but only one of the will go into WMM. the format is .avi and I am running Windows Vista. Could someone please help me so I can make my movie??
ALSO:
The videos play on Windows Media Player just fine.

Oh, guys, you should know, avi is a media container which can be encoded with many different codecs, so windows movie maker just supports some special avi videos. As I know, WMM supports wmv or mpeg2 videos well, so you need to use a right software to convert avi videos to the right wmv or mpeg2 videos for WMM. I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert avi videos to the right wmv or mpeg2 videos for WMM, etc. Yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter.Hope it can help you.
