RAVING MAD? pt 1/3 Central Weekend Live 1993

Topical debate show, which despite including the family of a raver who sadly died, contains hilarious & ridiculous characters & quotes. Look out for: *No one being able to pronounce the word “Ecstasy” *Young lad beginning his point with “I’ve never actually been to a rave, but..” *Young lad harshly pointing out to the mother of the deceased raver that no one forced him to take drugs and its his own fault hes dead *Birmingham MP about to say “I’m not a 14yr old girl” but correcting himself to “I’m not a parent” *Telegraph journalist explaining the downside of Ecstasy and the presenter interrupting her with “You sound like an advert for it” *Police officer: “We have keep fighting the drugs war for the generations that come behind us” (?) *Ex Tory MP: “The purpose of a rave party is to drive people into a frenzy!” *Audience member: “That police officer…has took a blind eye to nothing” (??) and many many more. It might seem in bad taste to post this under “comedy”, but even the bereaved family are laughing at the audience member making some obscure point about Cadburys Chocolates. Please post your favourite quotes. Sorry about the bad quality.
