Quartz Composer tutorial- making iMovie effects

A tutorial on how to use Quartz composer (sorry, Mac only) to make new effects in iMovie. I’ve done some research and it seems Quartz Composer comes from a suite of tools caled XCode- the 4th version is available for free on the Mac app store and the third is probably still on the Apple developer site (developer.apple.com You might have to register as an Apple developer first (also free and no more taxing than a normal registration), which you can do on the developer website.
