Quality goes down after Editing a recorded clip?

Question by Abu Haaniyah: Quality goes down after Editing a recorded clip?
I have a Panasonic DV Camera, after recording a 1 hour movie, i use Adobe premier pro software for editing. When i transfer the recorded movie to my PC, the file size is more than 15GB & the quality is excellent. But after editing, i export the movie to AVI and the quality goes down. I need to make video CD, but the quality is getting poorer. Could anyone point out the mistake i am making and suggest me its solution? Thanks to anyone who would answer.

Why not make a DVD?
you can hold much more on DVDs and they can play into any TV setup.

You will need to export as an MPEG2 format from Premiere then import that new file into a DVD authoring software, (I use Sony Architect Pro 4.5) but if you are using CS3 Premiere you have Encore with that and can easily import into that and encode your DVD making menus and such.

Don’t forget about the F1 key for help, it is a huge help.
