I’ve put together a film on windows movie maker, however every time i try and save it to my computer, my laptop shuts down.
I’ve tried saving the film 3 times and each time (at about 7%) it shuts the computer down. What is going on? How can i stop it?

Stop using windows movie maker and look for nero vision at the site bellow
