Q&A: Why do people feel thay need to follow the lives of celebrities?

Question by Wes A: Why do people feel thay need to follow the lives of celebrities?
I don’t understand why there are magazines, TV shows, and even entire TV networks devoted to the lives of people that make movies and play music and sports, or people that are just generally famous. Can anyone explain?

this is to show people how they too can also achieve these wonderful things they have when in reality they just happened to be at the right place at the right time as it all ways is as it always will be. I dont care how they want me to look im just going to be myself and do what makes me feel good they can go snort their coc and all that expensive limo stuff who needs it?
