Question by ladyboolala: What WEBSITE can i find scripts for plays and musicals for free?
My acting teacher wants me to perform a monologue from the musical Runaways, but i have to read the entire thing in order to understand the mood of the character that i’m portraying. I don’t have the money to buy the script and I really need this by tomorrow because i have to perform this on tuesday along with a song from a different musical, but the catch is it has to be under 2 minutes combined with the song and the monologue.. HELPP!

The only plays or musicals that you can legally find online for free are those within the public domain (ones for which the copyright has expired). If they are public domain, a quick google search will find results. If not, there’s no way to find it, unless illegally typed up somewhere.
