Q&A: What make and model was your parents/grandparents first automobile?

Question by Southern Comfort: What make and model was your parents/grandparents first automobile?
My Dad had pretty strange looking cars. One had a pointed nose like something out of a Buck Rogers space movie. Wish I could remember what type it was.

My parents had a four door black Dodge. It was really shiny. Had a lot more space than the cars do now. It was really a pretty car for the 40s.
