I have good angles, and good ideas, but the look of the movie is still homemade what kind of filters specially should i use in Final Cut Express 4 to fix that problem?

That really depends on what you want to do…as in what effect you want to do. Also it really depends on what camera your shooting with. Is is SD or HD. Need more details to better answer your question.
