Q&A: What do you think of this?

Question by rofljohnson: What do you think of this?
I got assigned an italian I video project around december 13th. it is due january 7th. we had to pick a group of three but since they werent enough people, i went with a kid i know. so i wrote the whole script and then we went on winter vacation. i needed to invite the kid over my house because the project was to describe stuff in your house and act like you were an agent selling a house to people.

so the kid goes on vacation, and doesnt call me. so on january 2nd, i txt him and the message fails. so i call, no answer. i look him up in the phone book, call his house, no answer. i did this until sunday, january 4th. so on monday, since the project was due on wednesday and the kid wasnt in school, i asked the teach if i could do it with my brother and she said yes. so im all set to do my project with my brother on tuesday (today) and then i see the kid in school. he told me that he was sick and wasnt allowed to go out of the house. but i found out that he went on vacation and was sick TODAY! he didnt call me at all to tell me when he could do the project. so i had a basketball game today and go home and settled at around 7 pm. so i taped the project with my older brother. i just checked my phoen and i got a call from him at around 6:55.

now i feel like an asshole. i feel like i left him out to dry. but on the other hand he didnt contact me at all until the day BEFORE the project was due.

and the teacher isnt accepting any lates and the grade counts for a lot. what do you think!?! i didnt mean to do it. i called him but he never picked up. i feel terrible.

he’s sort of a jerk. he didn’t even try to call you DURING his vacation and tell you? it’s a big grade like you said and there’s not many excuses for this level of slack and procrastination. confront him but be mature about it.

then again, you could have done it before the break and would have had no worries.
