Q&A: The Volturi in New Moon?

So i just finished New Moon!
I really like it, but the Volturi kinda confused me!
First of all, I’m big on picturing what the characters look like while im reading, but I couldnt picture the Volturi!
The only 2 I really pictured were Aro and Jane.
For Aro, I oddly pictured him as Dracula played by Gary Oldman (from that Dracula movie) but then I remembered that vampires don’t really age, so Aro cant be that old!
And for Jane, for some reason I pictured her as Tia Dalma from Pirates of the Carribean! I’m not even sure if she’s african american in the book..thats just how I pictured her

But anyway, I just wanted to know what each one of the guards and leaders from the Volturi look like (well the main ones) and also what you picture them like? Oh, and who you want to play them if they make the New Moon movie!
Also, one last question, if the Volturi are so “royal” and “proper” then why the heck do they freakin kidnap random tourists and turn them into vampires???

they dont kidnap random people to turn them into vampires, they feed on their blood. the volturi are not “vegetarian” like the cullens, they live off of killing humans and sucking their blood, and as for hat they look like that should be up to you and your imagination. They can look however you want them to look thats the great thing about reading!
