I just watched the American re-make of the Austrian movie ‘Funny Games’. The plot is twisted and almost believable, but did it actually happen?

Yes, It says right at the beginning of the movie “this story is based on actual events”.
The more twisted people see this movie the more you’re going to see crazy people breaking into peoples houses and terrifying them just for fun.
